About Us

Ebenezer For The Nations

Ebenezer for the Nations is a Christian-based foundation dedicated to helping underserved communities across the U.S., the Caribbean, and the Americas. Inspired by the example of Jesus, we aim to serve without borders and expand our impact globally, believing that together, we can make the world a better place.

As the biblical passage of the loaves and fishes (Matthew 14:15-21) shows, Jesus shows us his love for all people by asking his disciples to leave no one without food. The disciples knew that they did not have enough for everyone, but Jesus showed them that we always have something to share and that what is given from the heart will always multiply in a way that is incomprehensible to humans. It is the law of sowing and reaping.

The Foundation Ebenezer for the Nations understands Jesus' lesson very well and with the help of volunteers and donors, we have been working non-stop since 2015

Our main objective is to provide help to those who live in unfortunate circumstances, to supply them physically, emotionally and spiritually so that they can overcome everything through the love of God.

Ebenezer For The Nations we also plan to expand to all other continents, including the United States, the Caribbean islands, South America and Central America. We also have plans to expand to all other continents. Our motivation to reach out to all those in need is based on our belief in the Love of Jesus, which inspires us in everything we think, say or do.

And to make the world a better place, it is necessary to let God's grace be manifested through the actions of his children, that is why it is necessary to count on hands like yours and ours, willing to join our project.

Our story: A journey of faith and service

Since my childhood in Puerto Rico, I faced challenges that marked my life. I lived difficult situations and basic needs such as lack of food, clothes and shoes. My classmates and teachers did not value my situation, and at the age of eleven, when my parents divorced, the difficulties at home increased.

I remember a particularly hard time, when a stranger brought us damaged bread and some chocolate, which was all we ate for several days. However, what the enemy takes for evil, God turns into blessings. When I was fifteen years old, I experienced one of my best memories: a Good Samaritan showed up on Thanksgiving Eve with a truckload of food. It was such an emotional moment that my mother, Rosalia Burgos Alamo, shed tears of joy. That act of generosity left a deep mark on my life, and I will always be grateful for the example of my mother, who despite all our difficulties, always found a way to bless and help others.

Over the years, I met a wonderful man, my husband Ángel Rosado, who supported me in completing my university studies in Primary Education. I decided to pursue this career with the desire to help children who, like me, have experienced difficult situations. When we moved to the United States, I had the opportunity to become a Spanish teacher and help undocumented students by providing them with basic school supplies.

Together with my husband, we began blessing families in need, especially at Thanksgiving, by distributing food to those who needed it most. We both shared the same vision of helping the most vulnerable and, over time, God united our souls with a common purpose. Thus was born our secret ministry to support low-income and undocumented families.

Our work grew and, over time, we joined projects like Operation Christmas Child and collaborated with organizations that build houses in the Dominican Republic. In 2015, a sister from our church told us about the need for help in El Salvador, her homeland, and we did not hesitate: we collected food and clothes to send.My husband and our son traveled to that beautiful land, and their experience transformed our lives forever.

After years of prayer and service, in 2020, during the Covid-19 pandemic, we understood our vocation more clearly, and all our previous experiences prepared us to materialize an idea that was born in the mind of God and planted in our hearts.
Today, with your support, we are poised to expand our reach and continue to bring aid to the neediest areas of the world.Every act of kindness has the power to transform lives, and together we can make an even greater difference.

Story of a co-founder: Diana Cintrón

Growing up in a family with basic needs, such as lack of food and household goods, deeply marked my life. That reality awakened in me an unwavering passion for helping those who need it most. I remember when I was eight years old, despite living in austerity, I had the privilege of taking two cans of tomatoes to a fundraiser at my school. Although it was little, it meant a lot to me, because I was able to reach out to others and honor the words my mother always repeated to me, “Always help, because there are people who need more than you.”

Throughout my youth, I continued to face difficult circumstances, such as seeing two loved ones become homeless due to drug addiction. Despite these trials, the desire to help the abandoned, the abused, the homeless and the widows remained strong in my heart. Inspired by Jesus' teachings in the Bible, I tried to live by the “Golden Rule” of Matthew 7:12: “In everything, therefore, do as you would have others do to you...”.

Today I dedicate my days to collecting clothes, food and basic necessities to send to the underprivileged. I also support people battling illnesses such as Covíd-19, dementia and terminal cancer, but my greatest passion is helping the homeless. Every act of service reminds me that love and compassion are the true engine of change.

My commitment is to continue to be a helping hand to those who need it most, and together with those who share this mission, I believe we can make a real difference in the lives of many people.

“12 In everything, therefore, do unto others as you would have them do unto you...” (Matthew 7:12).

rosa rosada - Dedicatoria

Dedication: To my mother, Rosa, the heart of this legacy

In the Ceiba neighborhood of Cidra, everyone knew a woman who was small in stature but giant of heart. My mother, Rosalía Burgos Álamo, or as she was affectionately called, Doña Rosa. Her black hair and deep gaze spoke of a woman who did not need many words to convey her strength, love and wisdom.

She didn't have much schooling, but her wisdom surpassed that of any academic. Mom had a unique gift: she saw others with the eyes of her soul. To her, no one was invisible, especially the poor and the needy.

She was a tireless fighter. If something was needed at home, she would find something to sell or look for a solution. But her greatest wealth was not in what she could earn, but in what she was always willing to give. Helping was her language, her mission, and she turned it into a legacy that now lives on in this foundation.

I remember how he enjoyed watching me help others. He would look at me with pride and always say to me: “Daughter, never stop helping the poor”. Those words not only stayed in my heart; they became my compass, my purpose.

Today, the Ebenezer Foundation for the Nations is much more than an organization. It is an extension of his heart, a tribute to his legacy. Every meal we serve, every hug we give and every life we touch carries her essence. Because, although she is no longer physically with me, her spirit lives on in every act of love we do.

Mom, I love you, I miss you and I want you to know that this foundation is also yours. What I am today, what we do today, is thanks to you. Your values, your love for those in need and your example of struggle and dedication are my legacy of peace.

You were like a lighthouse, Mom, small in size but capable of illuminating the darkest corners with your light. Thank you for teaching me to look beyond appearances and see the hearts of others. Without you, I would not be the Janet Rosado I am today.

This space, this mission and every smile we create are a tribute to you, Doña Rosa. You will always be the heart of this legacy.

With all my love,
Your daughter, Janet Rosado

Our Values

are rooted in our Christian beliefs:

Faith is an indispensable value that sustains us, helps us trust God in uncertainty, and strengthens our belief in others, the Bible’s teachings, and His perfect will. At Ebenezer Fort The Nations, we live our faith actively through teamwork, knowing that together we can achieve greater goals and better results, just as Jesus taught us. Our faith drives us to believe we can accomplish much more than we imagine.

"For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them." (Matthew 18:20)

We hope to achieve more, create impact, and transform lives. In a world crying out for hope, we must believe in a brighter present and future. Let us act now to make a lasting difference for present and future generations.

"But those who trust in the Lord will renew their strength; they will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint." (Isaiah 40:31)

It is impossible to love God without loving others. At Ebenezer, we firmly believe in the commandment to love one another, as taught in John 13:34. To fulfill what God has placed in our hearts, love is essential. We want Ebenezer For The Nations to be a place where smiles, hugs and affection are shared out of genuine love.

"Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love” (1 John 4:8)

At Ebenezer, we believe that the best way to show love is through service. As the saying goes, “actions speak louder than words,” and we strive to make a real impact every day. We reflect who we are by serving others face-to-face, being present on the mission field—working, giving, serving, and praying for those in need.

"And the King will answer, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’" (Matthew 25:40)

Matthew 7:12 “12 In everything, therefore, do to others as you would have them do to you...” .
